My Life

It's easier to leave
To turn my back and run
Its easier then facing the pain
And all that I have done

I just don't know anymore
Why I choose to fight
Why I keep giving up
In this thing that we call life

I don't know who I am
Nor who I want to be
I don't know where I'm going
Or where my roads will meet

But I do, however, now know
The life that I don't want
The life where drugs and money
Are all that I can flaunt

I just want to be happy
And to get rid of all this strife
So I'm putting down the drugs
And I'm picking up my life
