Let Go

by Daniel Alexander   Nov 4, 2005

With every breath from this crushed lung
Comes the harsh sound the wounds have rung
In a sea of metaphor and truth
Beyond the dismal and seen proof
They'll never find my dying hole
I'll curl up and I'll let go
Writhed in pain on the floor
Just beyond your front door
Never thought you'd come to find
The bitter ending of my mind
They'll never find my dying soul
I'll curl up and I'll let go
With every trickle of red blood
That splashes down in to the mud
As ever night greets, beck and call
Whenever I begin to fall
They'll never find my dying hole
I'll curl up and I'll let go
Everything that you said
All the lies gone through my head
What time did you steal away
All the things that I longed to say
They'll never find my dying soul
I'll curl up and I'll let go
I'll never find my peace of mind
Just another thing I left behind
I'll curl up and I'll let go
