Regret

by Daniel Alexander   Nov 4, 2005

Wake to the sound
Of planes overhead
They're gone far away
Away from here
This piece you regret
You never gave your soul
You never gave your soul
This air is growing thin
You can feel you're getting dizzy
And fall to the ground
To the ground
Your lungs breathe deep
Take in all the air
That you start to thrive
To thrive upon
Slits trickle blood
Your tears never listen
Today, you can say
You were wronged
Bleed and regret
This is it
Today, you were wronged
Sleep and forget
This place is set
Today you were wronged
You were wronged
