I love you

by To many cuts that I lost count   Nov 4, 2005

When I told you we should just be friends,
I don't know what I was thinking.
I don't know why I wanted this to end,
I guess I felt I was sinking
into your eyes of ocean blue,
But it's not about me, it's about you.
You're the sweetest guy I've ever met,
And my torn heart is filled with regret.
I can understand if you hate me now,
I could definitely see the why and how.
But I still like you, maybe it's love?
The illuminating light from the moon up above,
Comforts me in my self-made sea.
Deep and cold with sorrow, drowning only me.
Because I miss you and I want you back.
Because I ripped your heart but I left it intact.
Because inside I bleed and I bleed for you,
And maybe you hate me, I hate myself too.
But it doesn't change the fact that I do love you
