Straight up straight down

by Arkon   Nov 5, 2005

I've missed since the day you left
Seeing you in a casket, made me feel like I wasn't worth it
The pain, it doesn't wash away
And now nobody wants to stay

Now I feel what I couldn't see
When you were with me
Now I know what it's like
To lose the love of your life

Crushing my hopes like they weren't there
As I sit and cry I wonder, is it fair?
Out late skating two crowned
Living it up and drinking it down

In this city late at night
Not a hope not a dream nothing tonight
And as your mouth really silent
I stared at your eyes
My mind getting violent
It appears that you died

On the floor bleeding, it wasn't what you deserved
But you didn't pay attention as the car swerved
Your legs gave out
Without a doubt you fall to the ground.

Dead cold still of the night
Your face on headlights
Death comes for us all
This time it was your call.
