Sunshine

by Anthony   Nov 6, 2005

The sun so yellow,
Shines on grass of green.
Rays of golden light,
Fall on everything.

Shining through the clouds,
Basking in its golden glow,
Humanity survives,
Through the only sun we know.

Sunshine in the summer,
The best warmth in the world.
Plants that grow from it,
Living straight, not dying curled.

When the sun burns out,
And this sunshine fails to be,
Our world bathed in darkness,
Our eyes will fail to see.
