Across the dance floor i saw u eyeing me, n' from the look in ur eyes i can tell that u like wut u see

After a while i sat down, n' slowly u made ur way through the crowd

U took a seat close by, n' when i glanced ur way we locked eyes

I turned around shyly trying not to blush, cuz boy u just got me crushed

In the corner of my eye I can see u staring every once in a while, n' I'll admit i was really diggin ur style

Finally when a song came on u asked me to dance, i gladly accepted...i thought I'd give u a chance

On the dance floor we were both a lil' shy, our friends were trippin out we're not normally like that they were wondering why

We felt something special n' tried to hide it by playing cool, but it was too hard we both looked like fools

Afterwards we got to know more about each other, n' we were both feeling one another

It was only obvious how we felt, n' u told me how when u first saw me i made ur heart melt

Then we danced again n' this time we didnt have to pretend

We danced a lil' slower n' our bodies a lil' closer

When the dance was over i didnt want to say goodbye, i didnt want this feeling to die

U held me n' slowly caressed my cheek, my whole body suddenly felt weak

U held me by my hips n' gave me a kiss on my lips

It was like love at first sight, i felt something real that night

There we stood in the still of the night u still holding me...then my alarm went off n' i started to think "Was it all a dream?"

Then as if to read my thoughts the phone started to ring, it was u, i knew it was true... n i thought this was the beginning of a wonderful thing
