Because of my beautiful brown shell

Because I have prevailed

Because I want to survive
Why hate me
Because my voice is amplified
Why hate me
Because I love so deep
Why hate me
Because Iâ??m thick beneath
Why hate me
Because I am impelled to strive
Why hate me
Because I refuse to compromise
Why hate me
Because of the texture of my hair
Why hate me
Because races are mixing in pairs
Why hate me
Because I serve a King
Why hate me
Because I am living the dream

    Wow you have some amazing poems, including this one. the one thing i didnt like was the last line, but i cant really suggest something bc its hard to end poems in this style. but great job.
