Love and Pain

Love is pain
And pain is love
But being without your love
Is pain you cant dream of

The day he left
He took my heart with him
The only thing he left
Were broken promises with pain

He held me close
And said he had to go
Said he loved me with all his heart
But why he left, I didn't know

He said he needed time
And that I had to understand
I looked at him and pleaded
Please dont go, he was all I needed

He slowly let go of my hand
As tears rolled down his cheeks
He looked back one last time
As I stood not being able to breathe

He was my first
My first at many things
But the first sad memory
When he had to leave

He touched my heart
And broke it too
But I know living without him
That, I cant do

So for forever and on
I will search for my first love
And if I never find him
I will always have him in a special place in my heart
