Emancipation

by Zach Cambria   Nov 8, 2005

A moon of bright
I look and see
A horizon of black and gold
a twinkling starlight there to be
A mystery to remain untold

The sun shown warm
I feel it bearing
Down upon my shoulders
Caring-
A ray of warmth set down so gently
Exuberantly beaming true
Set upon a shining sky-
A golden beauty within a majestic blue

And through all darkness
comes a light
From blindness comes a visionary
Sight-
And with that sight
imagination
Your heart shall soar in flight,
as free it roams upon the clouds-
an uplifting emancipation
