Sad little girl

by Holly Nicole Williams   Nov 8, 2005

She's sitting up in her room
Staring at the walls
She wishes the pain would end soon
Who's going to catch her when she falls?
She can't open her eyes
She can't see
She's trying to find a place to hide
Oh what a sad little girl is she

She feels alone
She feels to weak to fight
From everything she has known
She wants to forget it all tonight
She just doesn't want to be
Oh what a sad little girl is she.

She is afraid of the dark
She can find no comfort
Can you hear the cracking of her heart?
She's consumed by all the hurt
Never knowing what it's like to be free
Oh what a sad little girl is she

She dreams of a better time and place
For there must be better times then these
She wants to remove her hands from her face
Someday soon maybe she will find this peace
From this life she may choose to leave
Oh what a sad little girl is she.
