An Act of Suicide

by Arkon   Nov 9, 2005

It's all happened before,
Something that sets you off and end up laying face down on the floor,
Covered in blood and agony

What else is there to do?
Hang myself up high above the stoop?
Troubles and dangers of being a step away from death
I guess I wish I could forget

Truth and Time can hold us back
But not when all I see is black
And as my skull shatters from a bullet I found
I wait cold and dead to be put underground

It's as bad as it gets and nothing can make it better
So I let the blood stain into the sweater
Burning alive from the inside
No where to run and no where to hide

Life as I know it can just go to hell
I'm sick of living like I'm waiting on someone's bell
It's my life, I'll live it my way
Even if it means death in the worst ways.

That was really great. Nice imagery, and excellent job all together. Like Steph (^), If that's true and about you, don't do it. Trust me. Don't. Nice job on the poem though, I give you full points.
