Dark Butterfly

I feel dark and abused
Like a molested butterfly
landing on a black rose
melting away

unloved unnoticed and lonely
but yet so beautiful and rare
it sits there alone
on beautiful display
but no one noticed when it flew away

as its flying away
its wings turn black and gray
such a beautiful thing
is no longer here today

its drifted away to find a space
that will recognize it wondrous grace
like me maybe one day
We will find our one true place!!
