Wake up in the morning, open your eyes,
Your eyes are red, from a night of cries.
But yet your strong, you get out of bed,

After that your on step two,
Why waste your time on the untrue.

With that you hit step three,
Now you are free.
Forget the damage he's done, leave the past,
You're a stronger women, embrace it, make it last.

Get the strength to walk out the door.
Lock it behind you, destroy the key,
Say he's not getting the best of me.
You're through with him, start a new page,
Of your life, restart the gage.
For now you've got to step five,
Remember you're alive.
He may be gone, but you're still breathing,
Even after the painful leaving.
Now you've proven you can live without him,
And life is not all dark and dim.
When he swears he's sorry, he'll no long hurt you,
Promises forever more that he'll be true.
Don't fall for his game and tricks,
And you've completed step six.
Now you're at the last step seven,
Realize that life is not heaven.
Realize life is not a dream,
For dreams are a wish of what a perfect life would be.
Nothing is perfect, no matter what you say,
Not even a split second of the day.
So wake up, watch the sunrise,
And take the next step, await life's next surprise.
