True rose

by Miss Darcy![xXkestrelXx]   Nov 9, 2005

Roses sway in the wind, so free with no worries,
Striving to the delicate, silver moonlight,
Drops of chrystals from heaven on its petals,
So lush, so rich, so wanted.

Red, the colour of passion it has,
Petals make the pattern of a lake under a beautiful waterfall,
Bright green, the colour of mysterious oceans,
With soft-folding leaves, so delicate yet unbreakable.

But Wait!! Look closer and you will see,
The yellow pollen, making you sneeze and your eyes water,
The evil small creatures from hell,
Flying around, bringing out hatred.

Red, the colour of evil and blood,
Petals making the road to your death, your fear,
Bright green, the colour of envy, the second deadly sin,
With sharp leaves, waiting to stab you and rip away your love.
