I Remember

It's funny you know......
It's been so long since we've been together,
Yet I still remember.....

I remember the sound of your voice
and the touch of your skin.

I remember the smell of your clothes and that spark in your spirit.

I remember how you would hold me tight when i was down
and smile no matter what.

I remember how you use to whisper words in my ear
and look me straight in the eye when you told me you loved me.

I remember how we'd hold each others hands
and walk in the parkas the sun set.
I remember when "you" and "I" became "us".

I remember how it use to be,
You know,
When you still loved me.

(blah, i know it isn't a great poem but still..... yea so w/e)
