Solitary goodbye

The knife pierces my skin
but yet I do not bleed
The gun points to my head
but yet I do not try to break free
Your lips touch mine as you lean in for a kiss
Your hands grab my wrists
so I don't try to resist
Your breath mingles with mine
as you tell me that you care
You whisper in my ear
that you will always be there
This is the moment that that I walk away
I am emotionally unstable and it is
my feelings that I can not say
So as you see me leave
a tear falls from my eye
This is my way of leaving
my solitary goodbye
