The Path Chosen

To serve as the inspiration
To be the cause that brings
about the effect which results
in the action to the reaction

I am that reason
for things beings
what they are
I am the sustainer
And motivator of the
ones that need to be
remind why they started
doing what they do

Tired and weary at times
am I and unknown to them
they inspire and push me
to continue my fight and
struggle against the demons
that drive me to have started
this journey and continue it

The road is long and hard
But we persevere
Though the faces change
from time to time while there
maybe the reappearance of
an old one throughout the ages
we continue walking, hoping
we are given the strength and
ability to endure come what may
