The Afterthought

by beautiful   Nov 10, 2005

As I sit here dazed
Looking at the sky,
I think of the days
That quickly pass me by.

Some are good
without the rain,
Then some are bad
and filled with pain.

I just had a bad day
A couple of days ago,
Finding that my friend
Is unreal and a foe.

The 1 I loved
Didn't love me back,
I guess perfection was something
Something I lacked.

A hater in the hallway
Hated on my shoes
that's just to show
They got nothing better to do.

My father disowned my
Guess that's his lost,
Cus everything you do
Comes with a cost.

Then I got home
I thought Why?
Why do they hate?
The answer is easy to find.

The friend was a nobody
cus she back stabbed you,
You already knew this
So the problem wasn't you.

The 1 you love
Perfection was lacked,
He wasn;t the one
as A matter of fact.

The haters will always be there
For they have nothing to do,
Just goes to show how much
They want to be you.

Blessed to have these people
don't think that you're wrong,
For they're the ones that need you
They're the 1S that make you strong.

So walk with your head up
Don't ever look down,
Just take the blessings
And stand your ground......
