A Deadly Friendship

by xEmmax   Nov 10, 2005

Brand new is what you were
perfectly formed in every way,
your features smile so beautifully
gleaming a silver display.

Brand new is what i was
wrapped up in a cotton shell,
touched by the purest angels
shielded from a devilish hell.

Brand new is what we were
until we found each other,
a deadly friendship gripped our soles
ripping the outer cover.

Our bond became addictive
a painful ugly mess,
a meeting left us stained with blood
a secret i couldn't confess.

Dirty was your shining blade,
broken, blunt, and dead,
scarred was my perfect skin,
damaged, raw, and red.

never again to be brand new
no more angelic words spoken,
a secret breaking up my mind
for friendships can never be broken.
