Why I Write The Poems

My poems are not written for glory
But for the recognition of my love
My love for the girl that shines my world
And makes my soul joyful

They don’t put people down
But show my love and the reasons
The reasons why I love her
And why she makes me happy

They sometimes don’t rhyme
But life sometimes never rhymes
It has a rhythm at times
And that is when I am with her

Some of them are short
Some of them are long
But when I write about her
They seem just right

The way she inspires me
To write these poems
Amazes my mind and heart
And makes my soul joyful
