Sonnet Of Silence

by Josh Hopper   Nov 14, 2005

What took you so long to answer my call?
Let it be because you refused to listen,
I didn't want to lose it all,
you seem to be a moon with no luminescence,
you only shine right when your path is straight,
yet you wane at the slightest sight of a curve,
always assuming that I'm yours to take,
taking advantage of my loves worth,
Ill cry out to you as I only know how,
but yet I still cry out to deaf ears,
you seem to be hiding away from me now,
I'm now living my greatest fear...
You've been taken from me and will never come back,
I cant stand this... I want you back.
