You never thought of us,
Of our feelings or thoughts,
You just discarded both completely.

Every lie, sham or story,
Cut deep in our hearts
But you carried on carelessly.

You tore us all apart,
With ever word,
Only thinking of you.

But no surprise there,
It must come naturally,
But now it's over, you're through.

You took us for a ride,
And I believed every word,
And I must admit you were my best friend.

But now you've killed me,
You brought back my past,
Even if for that no hurt was meant.

But for some of our time,
I must thank you for my life,
As you refilled many holes.

And for your friendship,
I am truly grateful,
But now you're gone, I am now whole.
