Want, Need, Hate

by the one you forgot   Nov 15, 2005

Sitting at home
Waiting alone.
Listening for the phone
To ring,
The doorbell
To ding.
I want you here,
I need you here,
I hate you here,
Don’t come here.
Because I need you,
But you'd kill me.
I’m addicted to something deadly,
And I can't stop
From wanting more.
I can't stop
From needing you
To help me.
From needing you
To save me.
I want you here,
I need you here,
But you're going to kill me.
You’re dying on the outside,
I’m dying on the inside.
Trying to save each other,
And ourselves.
But our lives are
Falling apart.
Too much pressure to
Save them,
Too much stress to
Save me.
We’re dying,
And we need
Each other’s help.
We’re both dying,
The scars run deep,
The blood flows out.
The wounds can't heal.
The bruises stay there,
And won't go away.

All because,
I want you here,
I need you here,
I hate you here,
Don’t come here.
