What I Pray For

Everyday I pray that God will send someone to me.

Someone to hold my fragile heart and unlock it with a key.

I pray that hell be caring.. with my best interest at heart.

I pray that this person.. with me will never part.

Someone who will love me.. no matter what I do or wear.

And when Im sad hell hold me tight.. so my heart it will not tare.

Hell wipe away my tears.. when theyre rolling down my face.

He will pick me up and dust me off.. when Ive fallen from my grace.

Hell laugh a loud with me and well have a lot of fun.

Together on the sandy beach forever we will run.

I pray that hell be honest and love me from the inside out.

I pray that what I do for him will make him smile.. and never shout.

I pray hell love our children and give them tender loving care.

To help them through the good and bad.. and times that are not fair.

The last thing I do pray for.. please God send a man with faith.

This will keep us going.. until we reach you at heavens gate.
