I just stood there....

You were there talking right in front of me about how much you like him and I just stood there

You were there listening to me stand there silenced as I heard these words and I just stood there

You told me you loved him and I just stood there

You walked with me to your job and all we talked about was him and I just stood there

we talked and talked the whole time, Me watching you smile ever time I mention his name and hear your giggles and I justs stood there

We arrived at our destination and I told what was going to happen, That you were going to get your man and I heard your excitement and saw your glee and I just stood there

I was right in front of you ready to kiss you but with no prevail could I lean in. I couldn't even bare to say I loved you because you love another. I was right in your face with my heart in my hand and I just stood there

I saw you walk away with the happiest of faces and knew we were not meant to be and I just stood there

I saw you walk away with the excitement anticipating for tomorrow and I just stood there

I saw the look of love on your face but it wasn't for me and I couldn't change that so I just stood there

I could've told you I loved you, I could have told you I cared for you, I could have told you I was destined to be your man but I know how much you love him so I just stood there........

*not one of my best poems but I wrote this yesterday night because its how I felt. yesterday I had my heart broken. yesterday I officially died. I love Jessica but she loves another. So I guess we just really weren't meant to be...*
