Why I dare to call you "Family"

by Avrii Monrielle   Nov 17, 2005

You've always been there
Even when I'm up or down
You always seem to love me
Even when I frown
I love the way you make me smile
Or strike a sexy pose
The reason why I need you
I think everybody knows
I love the way I can hold onto you
And yet be so far out of reach
I love you like a brother
Yet when I hug you I am weak
I love your scent
I love your stupid lies
Trying to keep me
From starting to cry
I love you
And yet I need you
I call you family
Because you're what and who I need
I love you.
I want to hold your shoulders
Bend in for a kiss
Remember love,I'll never forget this
But yet in a way
I just want a hug
Because I love you too much
I don't want to hurt you
By going official
I don't want to miss you
In case you're not real
But I call you family
Because I'm sure that's what family means
To love and to depend on
But stuck inbetween
I want to be held by you, touched by you
Hugged by you
Loved by you
And I am
Alive because of you

I'll never forget you.
