When you reach the crossroads of your life,
Does it give you directions away from strife?
Or do we go through life everyday,
Dreading the day it gets taken away.
Nothing in life is secure
And once more itâ??s all a lure
To trap us into believing
To show us that our lives could be seething
With the love of a thousands hearts
And the break up of those courageous parts
You learn a lesson every time,
Ask the question â??are they really mineâ??
And when you get that kick in the face,
When you thought you had reached that special place,
Grab the foot of the one that has slain you
And show them that it wasnâ??t them that made you
Because you could love a million faces
And still find there are always traces
Of the first one to really break your heart,
The one that really took you apart
So this is my ode to all those people
Who dream of a life and come to the conclusion
That once you find that special person
Look some more cause in fact your just rehearsing.
