Taken From Me

by Adam Cooper   Nov 17, 2005

If I was to walk through these door’s tonight
And seem to forget how life just might,
Take from me a love so pure
Leave me with it no more

And although I know we would struggle
The life we’d lead is worth the trouble
Cause through it all I would hold
Your love for me so true and bold

If you should wavier from my grasp
And fine another special path
Then take your life and live it true
Even though I will always have eyes for you

So why do I sit here and write to you,
When really I want to hold you to
And whisper in your ears tonight
How I will always, want to hold you tight
