Black grave

by william foos   Nov 17, 2005

The light of the candle
is blown out
with unseen force
as they lower my box
into the cold dank hole
i seem to realize that
the breath of life is still
within my soul
could my wife done me in
because she made sure
i would not be embalmed
what a state i am in
and the hole is deeper than normal
since she said she wanted to be on top
well the cant here me
i see the darkness
