Time

by ryan39   Nov 17, 2005

This element is so deceiving,
you think you're the one receiving,

but really it slips away,
you don't know what happened to your day,

you never thought you would grow old,
now all you think about is the stories you've told,

but this is not how you thought you're story would unfold,
and now your alone, and you're life's story remains untold,

so take what time you have left on earth,
and cherish every second, all the way from birth,

because you never know when your time will come,
when you're life will be taken away, and go back were you came from,

you were so young, but now you're so old,
you were so hot, now you're so cold,

you were so careless, but now you're so uptight,
you didn't care if you screwed up, now you just want whats right,

time, should you take the time,
to give someone a piece of your time,
or is that just a waste of YOU'RE time,
who knows
only time will tell
