We Can Fix This City

by Sam   Nov 17, 2005

Its always there
And you never escape,
From every war around the world
From the scenes on a videos tape.

And though it may scare you,
You hide your admiration
For the thrills it gives you in the movies,
But oh, the trouble it gives a nation.

Little boys play gun in the street,
And fights spread through the school
All because they find themselves great
Though it never was cool.

So if you take my hand
We can make it through
We can stop the violence
Me and you.

We can fix the world
We can fix this city
One thing at a time
Only if you could see.
