Lost cause

Lost cause

Watch this world plummet to its death,
So many problems, yet so much unsaid,
How did this world become so heartless, impure?
In God we trust? How can we be sure?

Beaten wives trapped into silence,
Broken lives are ruined by violence,
Corrupted children selling for sex,
Abusive parents, the worlds perplexed.

A world at war in every one way,
Innocent blood drains with every spent day,
Kids imprisoned for robbery, for rape,
Twelve year old soldiers putting their lives at stake.

Lost causes, our world is drowning in lies,
Closed hearts, empty souls, cant hear the earth cry,
Desperation of a people, lost for any hope,
Alliance with evil, think it'll help them cope.

Spend a life time of running away from what it real,
Indulging in sin, evils going to win, see Satin grin,
Heart of stone cold steel.
Ignoring the truth, destroying the proof,
Killing the love, when push comes to shove,
This world is a lost cause, when will enough be enough!?
