My old best friend

We said, friends forever we will be.
Things just didn't turn out the way we wanted and thought they would.
My heart and soul belonged to you, and you just threw it away.
You broke my heart into thousand pieces, and it doesn't seem to heal again.

We both share the blame, and i think you know that deep down in your heart.
But you act like nothing can ever be the same if i don't apologize to you.

You have always been the one i could talk to about everything, especially when i was feeling sad.
But know that i am sad because of you i don't have anyone to talk to, no one who can understand this.

We have never had a real fight in our friendship, but i guess one always has to be the first.
I just always assumed that we would be able to work it out again. That we were strong enough to remain our great friendship.
