R.I.P. My Love

by Jennifer   Nov 18, 2005

You were taken out of my life
Now All I feel is pain and strife
You told others I was your one true love
The one sent to you from heaven above

But on my moms birthday 2004
Your heart continued to beat no more
Thrown from the truck at extreme speed
Torian you will be missed indeed

When I told you I cared what I said was so true
I never imagined having to live without you
Never did you say that your love was a serious thing
I thought friendship was all you were interested in being

I know that I wasn't always the nicest person around
But if ever you fell I picked you up from the ground
Everything I said was all in fun
I hurt inside for you are gone

No matter what the others said
You never let them get inside your head
You were the greatest person I ever knew
Forever and always will I love and miss you

I like this poem, I could have done a lil better, but this is right off the top of my head. I wrote all the others first. I still feel like I could have added more emotion to this.

You have mastered the ability to tell a story and give it a deeper meaning. On the outside it shows the sadness of losing a loved one, on the inside it seems to show the overall power of love.
