The Crusade

by Hades   Nov 19, 2005

Our enemy draws closer
From distant lands they're lured
They swarm against our last defense
Tonight death is assured

But I, for one, refuse to fall
Not without a fight
I'll mount my steed and meet them
We'll battle through the night

And so my friends, I ask you
Do you choose now to die?
Will you fall like cowards?
Or hold your head up high?

Mount your steeds and draw your swords,
You ride with me today!
I cannot guarantee your lives
But with you, God shall stay!

We are brothers in this fight
Forever may that hold!
Your stories will survive my friends!
Remaining pure as gold!

An alliance of the people
Born of blade and shield
We will hold strong, we are God's men!
Nothing can make us yield!

And so my brothers, ride with me
Draw out your shining sword,
We fight until the hour we die
For freedom, land, and lord!
