No return

No return

When comes the point of no return?
Where all is found yet nothing is learned,
When you stare in the mirror and hate what is there,
When you're hurting inside, yet appear not to care.
When you can't more forward for shackles hold you back,
When suddenly you're moving, but the tensions far too slack.

Wandering through a limbo of poisoned hope,
Breaking down inside and faking you can cope.
Pretending to live, following some dead-end lie.
Beyond the point of trying, just want to die.

Desperate for motivation, can't escape this empty life,
Can't conquer the days, can't tame the night.
Can't stand to fight no more, bleeding from the heart.
Can't stand to run the race. All over before it starts.
