I still miss you
But not like I did before.
And that intense aching I felt..
Just isn’t there any more.

I still say your name,
But not as much as I used to.
I still go to sleep and wake up
Thinking, dreaming of you.

I still long for your touch
But not in the same way.
And for once you’re not all I think about
Every minute, every hour, every day.

I still wish you would call,
To tell me you still cared.
But now it’s easier not to dream,
This heartbreak wasn’t something we shared.

I still want you,
But not like I did at the start.
I still love you,
Just not with as much of my heart…
