Do you rember;even if you are dead?

I rember when we were driving.
Just me and you.
You picked me up I was crying.
Little did I know i was going to lose.

We swerved alittle.
I asked have you been drinking?
You said no;he looked pitiful.
Then we were hit,and he wasn\'t thinking.

Sirens screamed into my head.
I saw him lieing on the cement.
He bled from his head.
What had happened to him?

I saw the driver who hit us
He was being arrested.
Did he feel any emotion of what he just did?
Did he know that he just killed my friend?

So now I go to see him and I sit next to his grave.
I ask him...
Do you rember;even if you are dead?

    Good Poem. I hope when your dead you only remember the good things. I know i don't want to remember some of the horrible things that have happened. I've lost a friend to a driving accident too. (if you have) I lost a friend to suicide too. we'll were not sure if he killed him self but i know he was unhappy w/ his life. and it kills me every day knowing i could have saved him and didn't.     Thats deep! And if its true then i hope it gets better for you. Your not alone in how you feel alot of us have to deal with the same thing. Love can be the sweetest thing or the worst. Keep up the good work and keep writing and if you have time check out some of my poems
