In Loving Memory-Mom

by Libby M   Nov 21, 2005

Here are the words I will never speak to you again
Though I know in my heart you’ve listened to them
As I have quietly said them in prayers and to all that know me.

You are a new star the night has gained
You are a new breath of air,
You are a new set of wings that God has created
You are a new Angel watching over us all.

A wife, a Mother, A Nana
You were all of those things,
A job you’ve been given,
And a Mentor you’ve become.

Your husband-Oh wife
His one and only soul,
He stands without you,
He surely will never forget,
The memories, the days,
The friendship and the Love
You granted him during all of your
Earthly days

Your sons stand tall before you, Oh mom.
You gave them all Life, taught them all from the
Start-
How to become who they are today,
They shed their burning tears, their heart long
For you, and we all pray for just, one more Moment.
A moment, to create another memory,
A moment to find you, to hold you close.

Daughters-lost not only a mother,
But they also lost you as their best friend.

Your grandchildren sit quietly as they enter,
The house, it isn’t a home any more-
They search the house in hopes of finding you.

One day we know we will find you-
Though we are apart, we think of
You always, we love and miss you
And one day soon, we all will meet
Again-till then Loving mother,
Good bye.
