So sincere (verse 2)

by David Wallace   Nov 22, 2005

Children of the hood product of the ghetto/ New breed arisen given birth to future intellectuals/ Increased sense of urgency equal equality/ Blinded by lies trying to envision reality/ Heart beating fast, body trembling, full of fear/ Is something real if we couldn't hear or see it ?/ crippling images thoughts of suicide leaving us mentally impairing/ Drama astonishing war declaring/ Nature going nuts leaving family members tearing/ This world is turning upside down outta control/ I see horrific things babies bodies going afloat/ optical drawings u can see when I recite a flow/ Brutally struck down adolescence by bullet strays/ No peace left no privacy bag searches on the MTA/ When the chemicals enter our body and veto our thinking/ We will wish that we held on to something sacred/ Grab the moment and restrain the feeling/ I'm so sincere it can disappear in an eye blink/ Our days are numbered it can end before u think/ Grab it pause it and hold it/ Cause these moments should be considered golden/.

It could happen, we could have a trusting world only if ppl can drop there egos, which is very unlikely, but if we teach our kids when time comes maybe, just maybe we just might be able to have a good world. Keep it up you are good! and check out mine if you have a chance.
