The door of no return

by My soul is forever broken   Nov 22, 2005

Lost in her own mind.
Every time she tries to come out,
you push her back inside.

You torture her and brake her heart
you tell her it's not good enough,
when she's tried her best.

You wonder why her grades are so bad this year.
but have you ever thought,
have you ever thought... maybe it's your fault.
Maybe it's the way you treat her.

Pushing her and pushing her,
through the door of no return.
you wonder why she's changed so much.

From a happy girl to a angry girl who sticks to herself and doesn't go out.

have you ever thought maybe it's the way you treat her,
the way you get onto her for everything even if it's not her fault.

she tries her best to be the perfect child.
But nobody's perfect.
It's not her fault she can't be the one you wanted.

She feels as if you don't want her,
as if you don't like her.
They say parents are your best friends but turns out the only parent thats a friend to her is her dad.

No matter how hard she tries or how much she does for you,
you always put her down.
You always punish her.

how could you treat her like that?
She tried to be the daughter of your dreams, she thought she knew what you wanted.
But every time she tried you put her down.

She thinks you wish she was never born, and she'll think this till the day she dies, or the day you apologize.

She tries to be like you,
But it never turns out like it should,
cause no matter how hard she tries to come out of her lonesome mind,
to be the daughter you've always wanted, but you always put her back down.

You've finally pushed her,
pushed her to far.
Now all she thinks about is dying.
All she wants is to try suicide.
It's you fault ,
you've finally pushed her to far.
so far she's finally walked through the door of no return.
