Corners of My Mind

by Qyzex   Nov 22, 2005

I tread the corners of my mind,

To find the place where my true self sleeps.

I pass the twisted trees of hate,

and stroll through fields of envious flowers.

I climb on up the hill of greed,

I cross the seas of sleepy sorrow.

I've traveled through my mind and back,

And have not found myself.

Perhaps I'm looking much too hard,

or maybe I was never there to begin with.

Whatever the answer is,

I'll always continue searching,

As I Walk the corners of my mind.
