Death Of a Friendship

by Hopeless Romantic   Nov 24, 2005

You always told me to never stay in the past,
to move on with my life,
and don't let anyone bring me down.

But as I move on to bigger and better things,
then you decide end it all....
You killed the best friendship that you will ever have.

I figured I would be the one to suffer,
but it was you that took it hard,
Having a hard time letting go I see,
You said I was the sweetest thing
you promised an everlasting friendship.
But I say F*U*K ALL THAT!!!!!

You were the one that f*c*ed up not me,
I moved on.........
I grew up, but you still remain the same,
You call telling me
"never talk to me again,
never to see me and forget it all,"

So why do you call?
Why must you hold on?
Why Can't you just let go?
Just leave me be.......
Cause of you having trouble letting go of the past,
Don't take me down with you,
I do't want to go back to the pain

Just remember your own advice....
"never stay in the past,"
just let it go......
