What is love

by Tom King   Dec 19, 2003

Love is never undone
It may never be outdone
By none who catches
By the long sharp cupids arrow
when the arrow gets more narrow
The sharper it becomes
To peirce the heart it is meant for
May it not be in sorrow
It comes like a theif in the night
That may never leave by dawns early light
Or, the owl that sits by the light
To take who it is meant for
Love has many shades
To hide it until it is too late
When it comes nothing can stop
The feelings or emotions
That may never lay down to rest
As it sets on empty heart
That may never had a soul
Will never be empty again
It can fill a galss
With just one quick pour
It may bring a tear
To ones eye while smiling
It may be a rose
Or the pedal that doesnt fade away
The wings on a Dove
that fly so far and long
To show its strength and peace
It is a soul
In search of his mate
The heart of one man
That has no pride left in him
That could be heaven sent
We can look our whole lives
To find our one soulmate
And, when it is found
May it never be taken away so easly
The measur what one must do
To prove his undying love
Is never enough to show
That how much he can love
The one that he knows
Is his soul mate
All it may ever need is
To find the one heart
That beckons to call his own
