Final Moment

As I lie awake in this mournful night...
Pleading for help and shaking in fright,
Loneliness crept inside of me.
Asking myself, how can this be?

As the tears in me began to flow,
And as my heart started to beat in sorrow,
The blood in my wrist began to drip,
And the knife in my hand started to slip.

I thought of what happened in the past
We were so happy and we thought it will last.
Now peacefully as I close my eyes,
Waiting for that final moment to arise...

You left me all alone; you uttered not even a single word
You gave me sleepless nights, just to find out your, dead.
Now, time ticks and we will soon be together,
You and I will share our new life, forever.
