Asking of You

by Josh Hopper   Nov 27, 2005

I ask of you to take my hand,

drawing me so near,

seeking me as your only escape,

from all your timid fears.

I ask of you to show me love,

dont let chances pass,

for I know that if you do,

they might just be your last,

I ask of you to be my fire,

keeping me from the cold,

fighting away the winters air,

keeping you my own.

I ask of you not only to be,

the one that I have found,

I ask of you to be with me,

until forever comes around.
