Heavens Blessed Thee

by romeo must die   Nov 27, 2005

Heavens blessed thee
For all tears you let
For the things you never get

Darkest ethereal crown you bear
Is never the scourge they scorn
Those chains of blood wreaked thy face
Turned to blossoms of worth, of life

Clouds bound, sheltered you
While earth soiled your limbs
Heathen Saviour, my procreation
These lines were to invoke you

Shadows in white took you
Away from all you were
But your frozen wrath so pure
Stormed in fury, dimmed the skies

Framed discord the silence
Cracked the whip of those
Vultures, living to kill and to feed on
Theyd overshadowed, been eclipsed

White fists no more bad blood
To stain you, twice enraged you
Raven hair swung in majesty
No one to conquer, defeat you

Heavens blessed thee
For the souls you breathe
For the roses youve sent
