Please don't break my heart again,
It's still in recovery from the other day.
I know you didn't mean to hurt me,
But you did and that's all I can say.

When I said good-bye,
It was for the best.
So please try and understand,
And put our friendship to rest.

But don't forget me,
Or our memories.
Cherish our love,
I'm begging you please.

You were my first
and you said I was yours.
You showed me how to love,
Then walked out the door.

Now you are back,
But you're not with me.
you're with her,
Which I cannot bear to see.

I love you always,
And will forever.
