Heartbreaks

I love you
but does it really matter
should i waste my time dreaming
of something that's gonna shatter?

or should i look at you
with eyes so bright
and lie to my heart
and say every thing's gonna be alright

or hold on tight
to your hugs that burn
in hopes that someday,
someday you'll learn

or let the tears
fall down to the floor
in hopes that i won't have to handle your heartbreaks anymore
